What's covered?

This qualification focuses on fundamental plumbing practical skills and knowledge. Successful completion of the course will give you an understanding of the core skills and knowledge required by a plumber working within the industry. You could move on to the Level 2 Diploma or NVQ if employed in the industry.

You will study a wide range of skills including:

  • Measuring
  • Cutting
  • Bending and jointing of pipework including copper, plastic and steel

What do you need?

You will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in the subject and be committed to good attendance, time keeping and a desire to learn.

How you are assessed

You are continually assessed through practical assignments and course work.
