Access courses are designed to update your skills and prepare you for study at a higher level in just one year. You’ll then be able to apply for a degree level course at college or university.

Destinations
Students have received university offers for a wide range of courses including:
Adult/Paediatric/Mental Health Nursing; Midwifery; Paramedic Science; Operating Department Practitioner: Occupational Therapy; Speech & Language Therapy: Social Work; Psychology, Sociology; Criminology; Primary Teaching, English, Creative Writing and Spanish.
Students could continue higher level studies with the Windsor Forest Colleges Group, or go on to study at a wide range of both local universities and elite institutions. Our students have progressed to King’s College London, the University of Surrey, Loughborough University, the University of Reading, the University of Cardiff, Middlesex University and Royal Holloway University.
Funding your Studies
For Access to HE courses, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help you pay for course fees if you are aged 19 and over. This loan is not means tested or credit checked. Repayments only start once you have completed the course and are earning more than £27,295 per year.
