Teacher Training Courses
We offer post-16 teaching qualifications and continuing professional development for teachers. Our courses offer you the flexibility to study while continuing to work.
What will you study in our Teacher Training courses?We offer a variety of courses depending on your goals. You can take any of the new Education and Training Qualifications at Level 3, 4 or 5 depending on whether you are looking for a qualification to enter the teaching profession or already in a teaching or training role.
For those wanting to teach English as a foreign language either in the UK or abroad, we offer the highly regarded Trinity College London TESOL qualification.
If you are a classroom assistant or teacher needing to improve your specialist knowledge of teaching learners with dyslexia, we are recognised as a centre of excellence for our dyslexia training course and offer the OCR Level 5 teaching learners with specific learning difficulties (Dyslexia) course.
Our Children's Development and Learning Foundation Degree, validated by the University of Reading will enable you to develop the skills to progress in your career working with children, alongside your job. See this short video about the benefits of a working in the education sector
We have excellent achievement rates in all of our teacher training courses. In addition to our flexible delivery, we support our students in and out of the classroom, both daytime and evening. Our links with schools allows us to give students good practical and relevant experience of teaching.
