Course Overview

This course is for anyone who works with children and young people from 0 – 25 years (working in Children’s Centres, Secondary school support staff, Extended schools, Health & Social Care and Local Authority Practitioners and Advisory staff) and wants to improve their skills and knowledge whilst staying in their current job.

Foundation Degrees (FdA) are particularly appropriate for students considering returning to learning after a break or those who have not gained their qualifications through the traditional school-based route. The course does not qualify you to teach (QTS), or confer the title of Early Years Professional, but is a ‘stepping-stone’ towards this status.
This Foundation Degree is validated by the University of West London.
