What's covered?

This Foundation Degree (FdA) is a flexible Higher Education Business programme validated by Buckinghamshire New University and designed with working people in mind. It has been designed to enhance your employment and career opportunities and build business and life skills. It combines academic rigor alongside drawing heavily from your workplace experience.

What do you need?

A minimum of a L3 qualification in any discipline and a D in English & Maths coupled with at least 2years of work experience. Those with a C and above in English & Maths but less than 2years work experience will be accepted.

How you are assessed

Your work will be assessed through presentations, essays, case studies, reports, group and individual projects.

How Long?

Year 1: Monday (6pm - 9 pm), Year 2: Tuesday (6pm - 9pm). You may choose to exit after one year with a University Certificate.

What course next?

This Foundation Degree is a powerful qualification in its own right. Yet it will also enable you, in most cases, to progress directly onto the third year of a Business Honours Degree. There is a guaranteed progression route with Buckinghamshire New University.

What could this lead to?

Direct entry into Year 3 of a Business Honours Degree and then, potentially, Masters/MBA Level study. There is a guaranteed progression route to complete a full degree with Buckinghamshire New University. This could then lead you to study Year 3 of a Business Honours Degree and then, potentially, Masters/MBA Level study.
