Course Overview

A BTEC First in Business will help you to take the first steps into the business world. Your course will mix business theory with practical application and you will study a range of mandatory and optional units.

You will learn business enterprise, selling and promoting a brand as well as financial awareness. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to do one week’s work experience in the business world.

This course is taught at the Slough & Langley College campus in Langley, Berkshire, with access to industry-standard facilities and industry-experienced tutors.

Course information

You will study a variety of business topics including recruitment, the business enviornment and visual merchandising. There are also exams in marketing and finance

The course is delivered through theory, mock exams and working with others

Progress is measured through both exams and on-going assessment allowing you to keep track of your performance on an ongoing basis.
