You’ll be trained on all the latest technology used in the workplace, including our new CNC milling and turning machines, laser cutter centre and 3D printers.
All our courses are accredited by the main industry bodies. Our workshops have been designed to be light and airy, giving you lots of space to learn your trade, while you practice your skills on the actual types of tools you’d be using in your job.
Whether you’re concentrating on precision or electronic engineering, you’ll be learning from inspirational tutors with genuine first-hand experience within the sector. And our strong links with respected industry giants like Babcock and BAA mean you’ll be developing practical knowledge and skills based on what today’s employers actually want and need.
During your course, you’ll have the chance to go out on industry visits, so you can really find out how the job is done. It also means you can speak to people actually working in the industry to get a better understanding of what your future career in engineering could be like.
Studying an accredited qualification at the College can lead to a wide range of roles, from engineering operative to CNC milling fabricator, and electrical engineer to security alarm engineer. Our courses are designed to give you an excellent foundation from which to progress to careers such as Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and manufacture or machine servicing.
Whether you want to continue in education and gain additional qualifications, or move directly into the workplace and put your skills into practice, our engineering courses can get you where you want to go.
