This course is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of airline operations and aviation operations on the ground.
Learners will understand the importance of health, safety and security procedures in the Aviation Industry and be introduced to the different terminology used.
The qualification focuses on the development of skills and knowledge to support working in the Aviation Industry.
The course modules consists of;

• Aviation terminology
• Airport locational geography
• Customer service in aviation
• Teamwork in the Aviation Industry
• Preparation for entry to employment in the Aviation Industry
On completion of this six-week course, learners will have the opportunity to be interviewed for a position at Heathrow or Gatwick, thanks to our unique partnership with the handling agents.
You will be taught in our state-of-the-art ‘Mock Up ‘ aircraft cabin with all modern features including, emergency equipment and public address system. The course is interactive, practical oriented and includes helping you prepare for an airline interview, understanding the airlines assessment methods and improving your chances of success. We will assist participants with the relevant online links to apply for available airport vacancies.
The course will require you to be dressed formally and this will be further explained in the interview.
You must be aged 18 and over, with English at GCSE 4 or above and recent retail customer service experience. Please note if successful in gaining employment you will be asked to provide five-year referencing. Airports are open all year round. As a result you will need to be happy working unsociable hours and be flexible.
