Across our Colleges, we offer a range of English courses at various levels. So, whether you are a school leaver looking to study English Literature at A Level, or are an adult wishing to fill in the gaps in your education and gain a GCSE in English Language to enhance your employability, we may have a course for you.

A Level

At our Strode’s and Windsor Colleges, you have the opportunity to study English Literature and/ or English Language as an A Level qualification.

The highly transferable skills you will acquire on these courses are in demand by both national and international employers from a variety of industries including media, PR, finance, business and charities.

Adults learning

GCSE and Functional Skills

If you left school without your English GCSE qualification, we offer part time courses for adults in GCSE and functional skills English Language, which may be required for employment or higher level study.

Once you have applied, you will be invited in for an assessment with one of our team to determine your level.

ESOL students studying

ESOL (Learn English)

Our ESOL courses are for those who are looking to learn or improve their English. Our friendly staff will help to find the correct level for you once you have applied.

You will develop your grammar and vocabulary through reading, writing, speaking and listening. Our courses lead to recognised and highly regarded qualifications.
