What's covered?

The Level 3 Diploma consists of mandatory and optional units which have a credit value. To achieve the Level 3 Diploma you will need to gain 44 credits in total. The units cover a wide range of topics and are designed to help learners develop a secure understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in school environments.

What do you need?

Learners should be working in a suitable role at level 3, and have achieved the Level 2 for Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools, or have had at least a year's working experience in schools. It is recommended that learners are working at Level 2 for literacy

How you are assessed

Knowledge and direct observation of practice in the workplace will be required as learners need to demonstrate competence in both knowledge and skills.
