Course Overview

Achieve your social media marketing goals and develop the skills and knowledge to reach out to your potential customers by learning how to create content, campaigns and developing skills in the art of persuasion, all the time being aware of best practise and privacy laws. This course is suitable for you whether you are new to social media marketing or want to build on existing knowledge.

A basic understanding of one or more of the following social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn is required, plus a general understanding of computing is desirable along with access to a modern phone, iPad or Laptop, so that the areas being covered can be demonstrated in situ.

Course information

– Establish a presence on the appropriate social media platform/s that is best suited for the business
– Create and maintain social media campaigns whilst measuring the impact using the relevant analytics
– Learn effective and creative ways of content production including photography and video
– Understand online privacy laws and best practice for social media marketing

8 weeks, 2.5hrs per week

Class-based delivery, with practical activities designed to put into action what has been learnt.

The course is appropriately paced based on the skills of the class and is designed to introduce the learners to new skills and methods, there is no formal assessment required.
