Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy Techniques (16-19 learners)

Unit 401 – Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector
Unit 302 – Make and test beauty therapy products
Unit 408 – Advanced epilation techniques
Unit 409 – Laser and light treatments for hair removal
Unit 410 – Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation
Unit 402 – Salon management

3 days a week Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-2:30pm, Friday 9:30-4pm over one academic year

A combination of Tutor led demonstrations, student participation & practice, theory delivery and commercial salon that will led on to formative & summative assessments.

Throughout the duration of the course both practical, online & written assessment methods are used to attain competence.

A City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy Techniques

16-19 year olds will study Maths and/or English if this GCSE is not achieved on entry. Students will attend a 5 day block of Industry placement part of their full study programme.

Upon completion of this Level 4 course, you’ll earn the title of Advanced Beauty Therapist, opening doors to a multitude of opportunities within the beauty industry. Not only will you gain access to higher-level courses, but you’ll also enhance your desirability as an employee in salons, spas, and clinics. This qualification paves the way for expanded employment prospects within the beauty sector.

A Kit & Uniform must be purchased within 6 weeks of enrolling for the course. Details of the Kit & Uniform are handed out during the enrolment process. Bursaries are available for those who are eligible – subject to individual assessment.
