This challenging and exciting level 3 course is designed to expertly train students with skills for the Film and Television industries and also covers areas such as Radio Drama. Working to professional briefs, you will be immersed in every aspect of production, from scriptwriting to filming and editing and sound recording.

– Single Camera Drama
– Research Projects
– Film and Video Editing Techniques
– Sound Recording and Editing
– Digital Photography
– Scriptwriting

We root these core units in a wide range of creative industries and platforms, to give our students a dynamic outlook on media. These include:

– Scriptwriting for film and radio
– Understanding the Film and TV Industries
– Tailoring media for different audiences
– Using our in-house green screen, sound booths and sound studios
– Producing music videos, sound effects, Animation and single camera drama productions

Our Extended Diploma courses are graded at either Pass, Merit or Distinction and you will be assessed on a continuous basis throughout the various stages of the course. As this is a practical, work-related course. You are assessed through creative projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. . This course is 100% internally assessed and externally moderated by the exam board.
