The opportunities for the development of transferable skills allows learners to tailor their learning to their interests through the provision of a broad range of optional units.
Advancements to Level 2 qualifications in health, social care or children’s settings provide learners with the opportunity to progress to employment, in due course, in a range of job roles in the care sectors.
The course will be delivered three days a week in college through classroom teaching, class visits as well as group and individual independent research to prepare for assignment work and 1 day a week in industry placement.
