On completion of this qualification, you will have gained the necessary skills to become a competent and successful business administrator. You’ll develop your business knowledge throughout this course, that you can then take forward, to achieve your successful business admin career, across a variety of business environments.

o Aged 19 or over as of 31/8/23
o If aged between 19 and 23 years old as of 31/08/23, you must have already achieved a Full Level 2 Qualification.
o Living in England (either in London or an ESFA non-devolved area)
o Lived in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years
o Not completed any part of the course before
o Not currently enrolled on any government funded course with another institution (anyone enrolled on an Apprenticeship at the college must not attempt to study these courses during their normal working hours)
This course consists of the following 6 units:
1. Principles of providing administrative services
2. Principles of business document production and ICT
3. Understand the employer organisations
4. Understand communication in a business environment
5. Social media
6. Safe use of online and social media
On average the course takes 8-12 weeks to complete depending on the time you can dedicate to it. If at any point you feel you may have any difficulties working to the suggested time frames, please liaise with your coach/tutor to discuss suitable adjustments. The maximum time allowed will be 16 weeks from the date you are first enrolled.
This remote online learning course allows you to study around your commitments, studying on the go or in your own home and at a time that suits you. You will have the freedom to revisit areas of the course as little or as much as you like using online learning materials that you can study at your own pace within an overall time frame of 16 weeks. Support is available from qualified tutors.
The course consists of online assessments. In order to keep your learning on track you will receive automated reminders for submissions, please liaise with you coach/tutor should you have any questions about completing in a timely fashion.
