Course Overview

This course is primarily based on famous artists and their work, and during the year we will be looking at the many different forms of art and the people who have contributed to them over the years.

There will be a bit of photography in some of the topics we cover, but our main focus will be on the different kinds of art.

Amongst other things, for this course, you will need imagination, creativity and a keen interest in art and trying to recreate some masterpieces of our own.

Sessions are relaxed and adapted to suit each individual’s needs and interests.

Course information

This course is primarily based on famous artists and their work, and during the year we will be looking at the many different forms of art and the people who have contributed to them over the years.

There will be a bit of photography in some of the topics we cover, but our main focus will be on studying the different kinds of art and techniques.

36 Weeks From September 2023 to July 2024

These topics will be taught using practical work together with classroom based learning.

Students will all follow a Learning Criteria delivered over the year, assessments will be through tutor lead practical, classroom based activities and observations in class.

All of our courses are aimed to support students develop their employability skills and life skills. Where courses are set a different levels you may which to progress onto the higher level the following year.
