This 1 year course requires GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 or above and a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (Diploma) qualification. Students must also be working within a salon, spa or clinic environment.
For all courses, students with lower than a grade 4 in English and/or maths will resit as part of their study programme. You will also be interviewed and must demonstrate a positive attitude, commitment to the course and a good character reference must be evident on enrolment with a positive school report. A willingness to be a model throughout the duration of the course for all units.

One Academic Year
A combination of Tutor led demonstrations, student participation & practice, theory delivery and commercial salon that will led on to formative & summative assessments.
Throughout the duration of the course both practical, online & written assessment methods are used to
attain competence.
Level 4 VTCT Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) Treatments
16-19 year olds will study Maths and/or English if this GCSE is not achieved on entry. Students will attend a 5 day block of Industry placement part of their full study programme.
Once you have successfully completed this Level 4 course you will be known as an Advanced Beauty
Therapist. This qualification will lead you to higher level courses within the beauty industry and, make you
more of a desirable employee within salons, spas & clinics.

A Kit & Unifrom must be purchased within 6 weeks of enrolling for the course. Details of the Kit & Uniform are handed out during the enrollment process. Bursaries are available for those who are eligible – subject to individual assessment.
