Course Overview

This course will be delivered on the following dates between 8:30am and 4:30pm:

This Level 2 qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding required to progress into further training or employment within the building maintenance and housing sectors.

The course develops a comprehensive understanding of damp, condensation, and mould in domestic dwellings, including their causes, identification, management, treatment, remediation, and prevention. Learners will also explore the wider social and economic impact these issues can have on individuals, families, and communities.

In addition, the qualification promotes greater awareness of tenant safety, housing responsibilities, and current legislation, including the requirements of Awaab’s Law. Through developing practical and industry-relevant knowledge, learners will be better equipped to support safe, healthy living environments and pursue career opportunities within the building maintenance or housing industry.
