Slough & Langley College Open Evening has been postponed due to the extreme heat and will now be on Wed 8th July 4pm-6:30pm
This course will enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Employability Skills, Study Skills, whilst you continue to improve your Maths and English Functional skills.
In addition, the course will also give you an introduction into working in the Health and Social Care Sector.
This course is taught at the Slough & Langley College campus in Langley, Berkshire, with access to industry-standard facilities and industry-experienced tutors.

No formal qualifications are needed, ESOL learners are welcome. You must however, demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to the course.
The programme includes units on Career Planning, Word Processing Software, Presentation Software, Study Skills, Personal Learning Skills, Understanding Human Growth and Development and Diversity in Society, which will support you in progressing to the next step, either to further learning or work.
1 Year, part-time, 1 ½ day a week, from 09:30 – 2.45 and 9.30-12.30

Level 1 LASER Certificate for Learning, Employability and Progression
You could progress to employment in residential care, hospitals, social care environments or career pathways to higher education.
