Our Technical Tutor will show you how to install Kensa’s “game changing” compact Shoebox NX (5kw), which aims to deliver Networked Heat Pumps to the mass market.
Designed to support the transition to low-carbon heating, the Shoebox NX is a compact, high-efficiency heat pump suitable for a wide range of domestic properties, from apartments to larger family homes. Its small footprint allows it to be installed discreetly within cupboards or utility spaces, making it an ideal solution where space is limited.
The course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to install, test, commission, service and maintain ground source heat pump systems using non-refrigerant circuits. Learners will also gain an understanding of system design principles, controls, hydraulic arrangements and fault diagnosis.
The training covers ground-to-water heat pump technologies and meets the training entry requirements for MCS certification.
Please note that this qualification covers sealed refrigerant systems only and does not include the knowledge or competence required to break into, make or charge refrigerant circuits. Operatives intending to install split refrigerant systems must also hold the appropriate refrigerant handling qualifications in accordance with current F-Gas Regulations.
The course price includes assessment and certification and is VAT exempt
