This qualification covers the key knowledge and skills required to carry out retrofit assessments for domestic buildings. Learners will study how to assess the condition of domestic buildings and their suitability for retrofit upgrades, including how to produce high quality retrofit assessment reports.
Learning Aim:
1. be able to evaluate the compatibility of buildings for retrofit upgrades
2. be able to assess different building services in relation to a potential retrofit
3. be able to evaluate the requirements for air tightness and ventilation systems in domestic properties.
This course is taught at the Slough & Langley College campus in Langley, Berkshire, with access to industry-standard facilities and industry-experienced tutors.
