Course information

Expand your creative horizons, with a chance of practising various genres of photography.
Portrait photography, architecture, abstract are to name a few.
Learn how to get light to work for you, and for you to control light.
Understand how to improve your own photography and what makes a good image.
Brilliant continuation of your passion from the beginners class.

20 hours, one evening a week for 8 weeks.

Classbased

Each week students will be asked to take a series of photographs based on a particular topic using a range of techniques. At the commencement of each session, the class will critically examine the results with a view to extracting and reviewing the main learning points. Each week the tutor will provide a supporting lecture for a given photographic topic with a view to asking students to take photos of this topic for the following week’s discussion. At the end of each session the tutor will examine a range of digital software techniques which can be applied to photographs. The software techniques will involve correcting camera errors, repairing damaged photos, and learning how to enhance and manipulate photographs with the use of Photoshop
