The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is proud to host our first Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of young people in Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
This event is designed for staff at local secondary schools and mental health support charities and organisations.
Join us for an insightful session on promoting youth mental health, and learn how we can work together to provide young people with the right help at the right time.
The free event will take place on Tuesday 12 November 2024, between 1-3pm at Slough and Langley College (SL3 8BY).
It will be hosted by the Colleges’ Lead Counsellor Helena Dolphin and our first speaker will be Katherine Radcliffe from the CAMHS Getting Help Team. After her presentation there will be time for questions and networking.
The Mental Health Forum will be useful for all secondary school staff that support with mental health, who work at the schools local to any of the four colleges in the Windsor Forest Colleges Group. It is also aimed at counselling, mentoring and mental health support charities in the same area.
This free session offers:
- A chance to raise awareness of mental health services available
- The opportunity to network with local schools
- Strategies to support young people within Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough
