Slough & Langley College is pleased to announce an important new partnership with Slough Town FC. United by a shared commitment to the residents of Slough, this collaboration will utilise the strong community ties of both institutions to support learning and personal growth within the community.

As part of this partnership, Slough Town FC will work alongside Slough & Langley College to raise awareness of educational opportunities available to adults in the community, including vocational courses and skills training.

Gillian May, Group Principal and CEO of The Windsor Forest Colleges Group, said: “We’re excited to partner with Slough Town FC, a club that shares our commitment to community through education. This partnership reflects our college’s drive to opening doors for adults seeking to enhance their skills and job prospects within Slough.”

Steve Doyle, Commercial Director at Slough Town, stated: “We are very excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring. Not only for the Club, but also its fans and wider community. Slough and Langley College are taking a very proactive approach to develop and grow the skillsets of those in our local area and we’re keen to play our part. By hosting classes and also looking at how we can provide opportunities at the Club for those at the college, we believe this partnership could deliver some fantastic outcomes for everyone involved.”

The partnership will kick off with various community events and outreach initiatives at both the college and football club, inviting adults from across the region to explore the broad range of educational and professional development resources available through Slough & Langley College.
