This course is designed over one year and enables the learners to study over a range of sectors, which will support study for future development. You will develop transferable skills and sector specific skills such as communication and working with children, families and professionals – providing a broad range of knowledge and skills to start your journey to working with children.

One year

You will be assessed through a variety of evidence produced for your portfolio. Topics are classroom based and will include practical and written activities.

A career in childcare after completing a Level 2 childcare qualification.
