The course ensures engineers can safely carry out gas metering work in accordance with current UK gas safety legislation and ACS standards. This course is suitable for qualified gas engineers who:
· Hold an existing CCN1 and CENWAT ACS qualification
· Engineers adding MET1 to their existing ACS qualifications.
HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters ACS Course (BPEC, Level 3)
The HTR1 ACS Course is designed for qualified gas engineers who wish to demonstrate competence in the installation, servicing, maintenance, repair, disconnection, and commissioning of domestic gas fires and wall heaters.
This qualification enables engineers to safely work on a wide range of domestic gas-fired heating appliances while meeting current UK gas safety standards and ACS certification requirements.
This course is suitable for qualified gas engineers who:

· Engineers adding HTR1 to their existing ACS qualifications.
CKR1 – Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances ACS Course (BPEC, Level 3)
The CKR1 ACS Course is designed for qualified gas engineers who wish to gain or renew certification to work on domestic gas cooking appliances. The course assesses your competence in the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, exchange, and disconnection of domestic gas cookers in accordance with current UK gas safety regulations.
This course is suitable for qualified gas engineers who:
· Hold an existing CCN1 and CENWAT ACS qualification
· Engineers adding HTR1 to their existing ACS qualifications.
Gas Safety CCN1 and CENWAT Re-assessment Course (BPEC, Level 3)
This course is designed for experienced gas engineers. It enables you to renew your ACS qualifications before they expire, ensuring you remain legally qualified to carry out domestic gas work across the UK.
This course is suitable for qualified gas engineers who:
· Hold an existing CCN1 and CENWAT ACS qualification
· Need to renew their qualifications every five years
· Want to maintain or renew their Gas Safe registration
If your ACS qualifications have expired, you may need to complete an initial assessment rather than a reassessment.
