Take your presentation skills to the next level! This 3-hour course is designed for learners who already understand the basics of Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides and want to develop the skills needed to create more professional, creative, visually engaging, and impactful presentations.

Participants will learn advanced techniques for designing polished presentations, improving visual communication, working efficiently with presentation tools, and creating engaging content for professional and business environments.

This course is taught at the Slough & Langley College campus in Langley, Berkshire, with access to industry-standard facilities and industry-experienced tutors.

Course information

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

❖ Apply and customise slide transitions and animations
❖ Work with SmartArt and charts to present data visually
❖ Insert and edit audio and video in slides
❖ Create and use slide masters for consistent formatting
❖ Add action buttons and create interactive slides
❖ Use hyperlinks to navigate or link to websites
❖ Set up a self-running presentation
❖ Learn best practices for presenting to an audience
❖ Save and share presentations in different formats (PDF, video)
The tutor will tailor the session to meet individual learner needs, focusing on the keyword processing skills they want to develop and how they intend to use them in everyday life.

The course will be delivered face-to-face in a computer room at the college.

No written exams – just practical, supportive learning.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a college certificate.

Once you have completed this workshop, you will be ready to progress to another IT workshop from our programme.
