At 14–16 College, we offer an innovative and carefully designed pathway for young people who are ready for a different approach to learning. Our provision is suitable for students who are seeking an alternative to mainstream schooling, including those experiencing school anxiety, school avoidance, or young people who have been home educated and would like to gain recognised qualifications in a college setting.
14–16 College: A Supportive Pathway for Young People
We provide a calm, structured environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, rebuild confidence, and develop their talents at a pace that works for them. Learning here is about more than qualifications — it’s about helping young people feel safe, supported and motivated to re-engage with education.
Our approach combines academic learning with the development of essential life skills, positive behaviours and employability skills. Small group sizes, personalised support and understanding staff help students to thrive, particularly those who may have struggled in traditional school settings or through home education.
At 14–16 College, we focus on progression, wellbeing and future readiness. We support every learner to grow in confidence, rediscover their love of learning and take positive steps towards GCSEs, vocational qualifications, further education or employment.
Dream big. Aim high.

Part Time
We partner with schools to deliver specialist 14–16 programmes, giving Year 10 and 11 students the chance to broaden their learning. They continue their core GCSEs at school while attending college for vocational courses and specialist facilities. This collaboration enriches the curriculum, raises aspirations, and helps students gain confidence and skills for future education and careers.

A Partnership with the Windsor Forest Colleges Group
A partnership with the Windsor Forest Colleges Group will enhance your schools’ programme with the benefit of specialist knowledge, realistic working environments and excellent facilities. The 14-16 course programmes provide nationally-recognised qualifications which combine practical skills development and academic content, highly valued by employers and effective at fast-tracking students into work. Research also shows that exam success rates improve through vocational learning, as students are happier and more fulfilled when their learning is centred on practical work experience. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
