Content Summary:
Understand what AI is and how it works in simple terms. Explore popular AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini
★ Identify safe and responsible ways to use AI
★ Try out AI tools to generate ideas and summaries, write emails or documents, translate and correct grammar and organise daily tasks.
★ Recognise the benefits and limitations of AI tools
★ Know when and how to use AI tools in learning or at work
The tutor will adapt the session to reflect learners’ individual needs, focusing on the skills they wish to develop and how they plan to use them in everyday situations.
3 hour session
The course will be delivered face-to-face in a computer room at the college.
No written exams – just practical, supportive learning
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a college certificate.
Once you have completed this workshop, you will be ready to progress to other IT workshops from our programme.
