Practical Demonstration and Assignments The City and Guilds of London Institute is a long established provider of Qualifications throughout every vocational sector. Assessments are based on practical demonstrations carried out in the salons on male and female 'paying' clients, the practical skill is supported by written assessment conducted under examination conditions and oral questioning also takes place to ensure that the essential knowledge has been gained. The course is one of constant assessments and all assessments entries are subject to the successful completion of course assignments, practical assessments, summative written examinations, satisfactory attendance, punctuality and professional conduct throughout.
