This is a course for those with little or no knowledge of Spanish. By the end of the course, you will have survival language skills to deal with a number of situations and will have acquired the basic linguistic structures. The aim is to introduce you to the basic linguistic skills and the background knowledge necessary for you to communicate simply but effectively in the country or in contact with visitors to this country.
You will learn how to:
Ask about places and follow directions to them
Ask about times Introduce yourself and others
Make travel arrangements
Fill in forms
Recognise and act upon signs and written instructions
Obtain accommodation in hotel and guest-house
Obtain something to eat and drink
Obtain goods in a shop
Students will be given lots of listening and speaking practice and will be taught in a relaxed and friendly environment.
