Course information
Students will study Professional Practice in the `Music Industry, Ensemble Music Performance, Composing Music, and Practical Music Theory and Harmony.
Two year course
You will be assessed through external and internal vocational and academic assessments. Just over 30% of the course will be externally assessed, 70% internally assessed.
Assessment may include: performances, rehearsals, community projects, research presentations or written reports.
Level 3 EDEXCEL BTEC National Extended Certificate in Music
During your two years of study you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, visit careers’ fairs and attend workshops, trips and visits.
