Course Overview

The travel & tourism industry is a dynamic and fast growing sector accounting for over 2.1 million jobs in the United Kingdom. Our ncfe qualifications will provide you with key skills and knowledge to gain employment in this fast growing industry. Located near Windsor, we have the benefit of a leading cultural heritage on our doorstep, alongside LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and two major airports. The area has its own Aviation Centre boasting state of the art Check – In area and Mock Up cabin.

The course gives you the skills and knowledge to work in airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels or other accommodation, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies, holiday centres, conference or events organisations.

We have great links with employers with whom we work to provide routes into employment. You will be taught by a team of lecturers with a high level of commercial knowledge and subject experience. Retail Trade Services
Air Fares and Ticketing
Visitor Attractions
Business Travel Planning
Interpersonal Skills
Customer Service and Selling Skills for Travel and Tourism

You will also study a Cabin Crew Introduction course and receive a separate certificate.

You also have the opportunity to improve your English and Maths skills at an appropriate level..

Our courses are endorsed by Cove Uk Holidays and students will have the opportunity to visit and participate in activities at Cove Uk’s holiday park.

Lectures, case studies, role plays, presentations, discussions, debates and assessments.

Students will also have the opportunity to visit employers such as British Airways. Trips are an important part of the course. Previously students have been to Peak District, Thorpe Park and Central London. UK work experience is a compulsory part of the course and for the most dedicated students there are opportunities for three week internship in Spain or Portugal.
