Course information
Topics will include subjects like personal hygiene, first aid, dental care, and the importance of sleep. We will incorporate gentle exercise and relaxation as well as exploring the benefits of immersing ourselves in local nature.
36 Weeks From September 2023 to July 2024
Each week there will be a focus on an aspect of health (physical or emotional health) and explore it in fun ways.
The aim would be to integrate classroom learning along with practical activities and gentle exercise. These classes will be taught using differentiated teaching methods and will involve small amounts of written work and some creative activities.
Students will all follow a Learning Criteria delivered over the year, assessments will be through tutor lead practical, classroom based activities and observations in class.
