What's covered?

This one year advanced course will give you good knowledge of complex plastering tasks and an insight into supervisory situations. This can lead to a Foundation Degree in construction or subject to suitable employment you could gain an NVQ in plastering.

  • Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries
  • Analysing technical information, quantities and communication with others
  • Analysing the construction industry and built environment
  • Applying plaster materials to produce complex internal surfaces
  • Applying render to produce complex external surfaces
  • Prepare and run in-situ moulds

What do you need?

You will need to have completed Level 1 & 2 Diplomas and all Functional Skills at Level 2. You will also need good references and satisfactory attendance records.

How you are assessed

The Diploma requires the completion of practical and theory of complex plastering tasks and an insight into supervisory situations. This can lead to a Foundation Degree in construction or subject to suitable employment you could gain an NVQ in plastering.
