What's covered?

This course will cover in-depth principles of Customer Service. The unit will help develop learners' knowledge of why customer service principles are important to an organisation. In turn increasing career prospect's by giving learner's skills, such as meeting customer expectations and knowledge of industry standards. This qualification underpins current legislation, regulations and organisational requirements, touching on the importance of data protection. This customer service course gives valuable progression opportunities as the knowledge offered is transferrable within a customer service environment across different sectors.

How you are assessed

The course is broken down into ten sessions of 2 hours and is run at Strode's college. Students will be expected to fulfil assignment briefs set in order to achieve the assessment criteria. Assessments will take various formats such as performance observations, presentations, projects, tests or written evidence and will link to the assessment criteria. This is an accredited course and therefore evidence to support learning must be documented formally.

You can progress to a Level 2 qualification that may be offered by Strode's College if there is sufficient interest.
