What's covered?

This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 and above who are working in or are looking to work in a customer service role or similar. This course introduces you to the field of customer service -the procedures, practices and legislation. You will also explore and consider your own needs and support that you require in order to make progress within customer service roles. You will consider how organisations make customers aware of their products and services how to provide excellent customer service by meeting the needs and expectations of the customer.

What do you need?

Maths and English GCSEs at grade D/3 or better.

How you are assessed

Each candidate must create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria associated with each unit.

How Long?

The course runs part time 6 hours a week for 35 weeks, so effectively January to January.

What course next?

The course provides opportunities for progression to further learning within the suite, e.g. Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service

What could this lead to?

For many learners the achievement of the Level 2 Customer Service Diploma will provide a useful recognition of their professional competence, to aid their step from one job role to another, e.g. moving from the 'shop-floor' into 'after-sales'. For others, it could prepare them for progression to further learning and training, for example, learners may progress from the Level 2 to the Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service
