What's covered?

This qualification recognises learners' understanding of administrative functions and activities. It accredits learners' abilities to carry out a range of administrative tasks autonomously and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context. The qualification is flexible, allowing learners to choose individual units that best fit their needs and level of achievement. It is suitable for those who wish to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills of a range of key administrative functions and activities. It is suitable for those who will have to work independently in an administrative job role.

What do you need?

Maths and English GCSEs at grade D or better and successful completion of the Diploma Level 1 as this gives you the skills to complete the level 2.

Centre-devised assessment (internal assessment)

How Long?

The course runs part time 6 hours a week for 35 weeks, so effectively January to January.

What course next?

The course provides opportunities for progression to further learning within the suite, e.g. Level 3 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Administration (Business Professional).

What could this lead to?

Learners may progress to employment in administrative roles as this qualification provides evidence of achievement of a range of practical skills, as well as of underpinning knowledge and understanding of administration. You can also progress to related general and/or vocational qualifications or apprenticeships.
