What's covered?

This course prepares you for the full range of AAT qualifications at levels two, three and four. The qualification has been designed to provide you with a practical introductory understanding of accountancy in the workplace and how to conduct yourself in a professional environment. It will provide you with basic accountancy, bookkeeping and payroll knowledge. You will learn how to use accounting software and spreadsheet programmes as well as gaining an introduction to basic business principles. Learning will be a mix of classroom teaching, individual and group activities and also self study

What do you need?

Good literacy and numeracy skills which can be supported by GCSE grades with C or above in English and Maths. There will be screening of literacy and numeracy followed by an interview.

How you are assessed

You will be assessed via on line computer based exams

The course is one day a week for one year
