Course information

What will I study?

The course is varied and aims to improve students’ observational skills, eye-to-hand co-ordination and dexterity. Over the weeks you will be investigate your own art work using a variety of mediums, drawing with pencil, ink, and pastels. As well as painting using different medium. This course is to build up a portfolio of your own art work or just to develop your art.

How will this course be delivered?

How will I be assessed?

The course is designed to introduce the student gradually to methods of working, beginning with enhancing drawing skills and moving on to other forms of expression. Specialist subjects are re-visited from time to time in order to monitor progress.
Homework is voluntary but there are occasions when some research is needed before beginning a specific project. However, like any skill, practice improves performance.
